CAST IRON BLACK AMERICANA JOLLY N MECHANICAL DINAH BANK J.E. STEVENS 1890 IS ON BOTTOM GRATE.
This type ofcast iron Black Americana mechanical bank originated in the 1880's. It has a bit of rust on it as well as missing and chipped paint as seen in the many photos taken and is in working condition. This bank hasJ.E. STEVENS 1890on the bottom grate.
Put a coin in her palm, press down lever & her arm moves up to deposit coin in her mouth while her eyes & tongue roll back.
It measures apx.6 1/4"tall,5 1/4" across front and5 1/4" from front to back.it weighs apx.a bit over4.15pounds unboxed.The bank has all flat screwson it.
