Please read the complete description regarding shipping cost.I think this is a Pattern 1903 bandolier, but I'm not sure. They usually have either 5 or9 pockets, this one has 10, and the buckle is different. Also the pockets are stitched in place rather than rivetted. It is approximately 48 inches, 122 cm, long. The wide part is approximately 3 inches, 7.5 cm, and the narrow part 2 1/4 inches, 5.5 cm.Itis in solid condition with a few scuffs and light scratches. The leather is pliable.The brass fasteningstud is missing from one of the pockets. Maker marked and dated E.AUGER 1916 MONTREAL. Both the bandolier and the small strap at the centre are stamped with a C-broad arrow. Written on the back is 651462 / 160th Batt / Fred ???? The name isn't clear but according to the service number it has to be John Frederick Purser. According to his attestation paper he wasa farmer living at R R # 5 Lucknow when he enlisted in the 160th Battalion at Lucknow on Jan.22 1916.I will be listing moremilitary itemstoday including a set of spurs from the same estate.Please see my other items to view them.Postage within Canada isfrom$10.28 to $18.35, to the U.S. is $15.56 and air mail to the U.
