This is for asuper clean sterling silver Charles Horner thimble in its totally original red Moroccoleather box. The thimble is marked with a registered design number 429537 and the number 7 and it carries a full set of hallmarks dating it to Chester 1903 along with the makers initials C.H for Charles Horner. The thimble and the holder arein excellent unused A1condition with no dents to the silver and no damage to the box which has a cleaninterior.The timble fits absolutely perfectly into the indent and there is no doubt that this thimble and box started life together, it looks like it was put away somewhere all this time. The thimblestands 22mm (0.75") tall by 16mm (0.75") in diameter.
