CHARMING ANTIQUE FRENCH SUCHARD BON BON CHOCOLAT BOX c 1920 HARLEQUIN DANCERS & ROSES

This adorable antique French chocolat bon bon box dates from the 1920s.The inner lid reads CHOCOLAT SUCHARD and the inner base still has its old foxedfiligree paper border.The outer box is such an adorable display. The lid carries an evening dance scene where Harlequin swirls his mademoiselle around the dance floor.The design is surrounded with tumbling roses, harlequin masks and pink blooms.The base of the box carries the number 3661.There were some small shells inside so I have left them just as I found them.The box measures:Diameter 5" (12.5cms)Height 1.25" (3cms)A little aged as it should be and all good and strong.A delicieux period box perfect for any boudoir or display.Belle brocante chic from simply-chateau!PLEASE SEE MY BLOG FOR THE LATEST NEWS FROM THE
