Chinese 18th Century Porcelain Famille Rose Mandarin Teapot Qianlong Ca 1750 :
Kasper Tiggeloven Antiques
A very nice 18th century Chinese porcelain teapot in the Mandarin Pattern. This teapot will be made early in the Qianlong period ca 1750. It shows two panels of Chinese men courting women in famille rose colours. It has a gilt handle and spout. This piece (as well as the other Chinese pieces listed) come from a private collector. Some of the pieces still have their catalog sticker on the bottom (in this case no 134). Other pieces of this set will also be listed.
The teapot is 14.5 cm in height and 21.5 cm in width from handle to spout. The piece is unmarked. The piece has a chip to the spot and some minor chips to the rim of the lid. It also has some slight loss to the gilding. Otherwise the piece is in excellent condition.
