Here for sale is thisbeautifully ornate, spring-action D20 gold-platedlorgnette in perfect working order. These are a particularly lovely examplecovered in a gorgeousgold plating, etched with a delicate Victorian design on the handle as well, as on the frames.The frames fold inward, overlappingone another until the level on the side of the handle is pushed, at which pointthey spring open, providing two highly magnifying lenses. A small loop is included at the end of the handle, so that thelorgnette may be worn on a chain.

Toopen, you push down on the button on the handle, then thespring mechanism pops out both spectacles. These work perfectly which is rare.

Exhibiting only minor darkening, this lorgnetteremains in very good antique condition, and has a hallmark that reads \"D20\". There is onevery, very small metal test nick onthe frame, but you really have to look to see it. Otherwise, the clarity ofthe lens is amazingly clean and clear. No deep scratches at all. It\'s coming withthe original lovely leather case.Excellent condition, need for any collection.
