We are delighted to offer for sale 1 of 4 stunningAntique circa 1850 distressed ships steamer trunks

This sale is for the one piece, the other three whichare progressive in size are listed under my other items and not included inthis sale

The locks are supplied by J.Bates of Wolverhampton, if youdo a little research you will see they were pretty much the best of their era

The condition of each piece is exactly right for the periodera and usage, think how many sea crossings they have seen

They make lovely signature pieces for the house, keep shoesin the porch, toys in the living room, some use them as foot rests others ascoffee tables and so on

We have cleaned waxed and polished them, they are ready fora new life!

PAYMENTS

We accept payment via card at the warehouse on theday of collection, PayPal or bacs prior to collection

We would kindly ask that all items are paid forwithin 48 hours and collected within 7 working days, we can hold all paid itemsfor 14 days free of charge, there after there is a very small storage fee,please ask before purchase should you wish us to hold something for longer thantwo weeks

Please note vintage period and original items suchas leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of crackingcreasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost,also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight forprolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade

COURIER (LARGE ITEMS ONLY THAT CAN’T BE POSTED)

Absolutely nothing is sent for free, every item hasa specific price for delivery, please ask for a quote before you offer and notafter

Your invoice will be sent with zero balance in thedelivery section, this is because all delivery fees are paid directly to thecourier company to keep your costs down, if we charge you through we haveto add and paypal fees, vat and other taxes to make sure the couriercompany are paid the exact amount they charge

We can arrange delivery nationwide, mostly withWimbledon couriers, for the very far North and South we use KDM couriers, forEurope we use Anyvan to find the cheapest quote, for the rest of the world itis location specific

Whoever delivers will usually require some help onthe larger items to unload, if this is not possible please let us know as it willaffect the price to send a two man team

Delivery is to the ground floor only, again if youneed help upstairs or in flats etc that\'s absolutely not a problem, thecouriers charge £10 per flight per man per item, if you have a working elevatorthen naturally there’s no additional fee

All courier fees are paid by yourself directly tothe courier company, the contract for delivery is between yourselves the clientand whichever courier you chose from those available

I’m happy to accommodate your own courier after acleared payment has been received, they need to book in a collection time withat least 24 hours notice, all collections must be made within 7 working days ofthe close of the sale unless agreed by prior arrangement

We can currently deliver to Portugal France Spainand Italy, please contact us with your full address and we will have a quotedrawn up for you

Delivery time can take two to three weeks dependingon the courier’s routes for the above mentioned countries
