CIVIL WAR CDV ~CAVALRY SOLDIER w/HORSE AT LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN 1864 REVENUE STAMP
Offered is a Civil War CDV of a Cavalry Soldier with his horse, photographed by R. M. Linn at Lookout Mountain. The soldier is holding his horse in one hand, and a pair of binoculars in the other. Really an excellent example of an outdoor shoot.
CDV has some edge wear and dings to the mount. Just to the left of the soldier, is a small punch-through from the back of the CDV. Album print has some minor wear along the edge. Some foxing noted. Outdoor views such as these are pretty hard tough to find. Great original period CDV from the Civil War.
