Here is a very nice civil war period letter written by a soldier stationed in Maryland.For me the letter is hard to read the handwriting. There are a few references tothe war. one mentions a battle earlier where the union won the day andanother part mentions 5 Divisions under General Hooker. Lookat the pictures, the letter is in good condition, no envelope.
