A real walk down memory lane for those of us who enjoyed family vacations of old! A souvenir collector plate, ashtray style, circa 1940s or ‘50s, commemorating places of note in a city and/or state. This one depicts Michigan, and features the following landmarks: Michigan State Capitol Building (center), Institute Of Science Cranbrook, Tamquamenon Falls, Detroit Skyline, Holland Michagan, Presque Light House, Iron Mine, Greenfield Village, and Apple Blossom State Flower. Plate is 3 ½" square,, has one unfinished area on front (from factory), but otherwise, in great condition! During the ‘40s, ‘50s and ‘60s, I think every home in America had at least one of these neat collector plates on the wall or table! Hope someone will enjoy this one, and thanks for looking!
