ITEM: You are offerding on an antique original February 1933 issue of College Humor magazine that features an early look at Mickey Mouse through the guise of an "interview" between Mr. Mouse and Douglas Fairbanks. A dazzling art deco cover by Rolf Armstrong featuring a jazzy flapper beauty and Scottie dog. Armstrong worked as a cover illustrator for a number of leading Hollywood and popular culture magazines in the 1920s and 1930s, and the influence of his beautiful, red lipped and dark eyed flappers on style and jazz age culture cannot be overstated. This is a rare complete issue with illustrations from James Montgomery Flagg, the aforementioned Disney feature and much more, with no cuts or missing pages.
