Up for saleis wonderful pewter dish forthe Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and Restoration.The dish is called the STRAWBERRY DISH,style number CW54 and was made by The Stieff Company of Baltimore, Maryland. Colonial Williamsburg describes the tankard as a“thisunique scalloped bowl, particularly suitable for fresh strawberries, isspectacular piled high with any fresh fruit. Its original was an Irish antiquemade circa 1690-1700 by William Bancks”. The dish measures 11 1/2” in diameter. It is in great vintage used condition with normal wear for its age.
