Ca 1860\'s CIVIL WAR 6TH PLATE TINTYPE ARMED UNION INFANTRY SOLDIER with REVOLVER
Offered is a Civil War 6th plate tintype of a armed Infantry Soldier. The soldier has a revolver tucked into his belt and this is a 3/4 length view. Housed in a full pressed wood case.
There are bends in the main body of the tin and a divot off his left arm, mostly seen when tilted to a light. Typical mat wear. The case came with the image, but I see that at one point it may have hung from a hook as the preserver is set up for a wall hang. A few nicks and scratches to the surface with a noted scratch near one eye that runs vertically on his face. Residue from a modern sticker on the verso. Case shows typical wear with functional latch and hooks. Please review all scans or photos for details.
