I'm listing an outstanding assortment of musical, electrical and mechanical
antiques, and I suspect that there will be at least something of
interest to almost everyone.Here's an excellent, all-original Chautauqua roller organ manufactured approximately 130 years ago.Condition of the organette is excellent throughout, particularly for a 19th century table organ (most of these players were cheaply manufactured and quickly fell into disrepair). The cabinet decorations in particular are still beautiful, and the glass window is still clear and undamaged. The finish is original and in excellent condition. The bellows are still sealed, and the cob sounds great as it plays through. The original instruction sheet is still intact on the underside of the organette. The crank is original, the internal mechanism and reed assembly is original, and the apparatus works effortlessly. A really nice example of a compact roller organ.When closed, the box measures approx. 15" wide by 12" deep by 8" high.
