Please read the complete description regarding shipping cost.These cutters are approximately 6 7/8 inches, 17.5 cm.,long and are in excellent condition. Made by Wynn & Timmins England, a well-known tool manufacturing company. The leather case is in solid condition showing some dryness and age cracks. One of the leather loops on the small fastening strap is broken. The case is stamped MADE IN ENGLAND and both the case and the small strap are stamped H.D.G., probably the manufacturer. The long flat strap is stamped with a large C-broad arrow to indicate Canadian military use. The case isn't dated but would appear to be circa World War 1. I think the case is too elaborate for these to be simple wire cutters. It is obviously made to be fastened to a specific vehicle,apparatus orpiece of equipment.Possibly on a bicycle or motorcycle forcutting spokes? If someone knows the purpose of these cutters I would appreciate the information.I will be listing moremilitary itemstoday.
