This sale is for a pair of CarltonWare Walking Ware pieces. Salt and pepper shakers are marked Made in England on the bottom, along with two small pink slashes separated by a longer mark (could be date code or maker\'s code). Theshoes are dark cobalt--almost look black--and the socks have a pink and cobalt bullseyepattern. My photos will show how the right foot stands just a bit in front of the left. The first picture was takenwith a flash, which shows the true white color, not the eggshell that it seems in the other photos. Each shaker is in unused, excellent condition--no chips, cracks or damage. They measure 4 5/8\" high. One hole at top for the pepper shaker and five for the salt. Becausethey\'re simply signed Made in England (no CarltonWare mark), I wondered if they\'re reproductions,but they match many photo of authentic Walking Ware that I was able to find online, so I don\'t think they are. The stoppers, however, are not original to the pieces--each is signed Regina Ind. Ltd. Stoke On Trent England. Regina Industries is a plastic injection moulding business, still in production today. Please check the photos and if I\'m wrong, Iwelcome kind corrections and will certainly revise my sale.
