This
is a beautiful small painting on thick vellum on consignment for sale from
one of the convents we work with.
We
removed the painting from the frame for the pictures, so buyers may see the
signatures, as well as the condition of the painting; we also cleaned the domed
glass that protects the painting, all else is original.
The
painting size is approximately 1.75 inches long on the larges area of its oval
shape, and the frame size is 2.75 X 2.50 inches.
The painting may be
hung on a wall by means of a ring, or inclined next to the wall of a curio cabinet,
or Altar.
Unique
pieces like this only come to us directly from the convents during the dry season in South America, and we
