Let\'s start by assuming you know what you\'re looking at here. You probably know that these amps aren\'t easy to acquire as they were produced them for just 2 years (\'00-\'02) andSteve Carrdid not build many of them. It\'s also one of very few models that you can\'t even order from Steve as a special request, meaning those that now exist are ALL that exist. Finally, the 4x10 version of the Imperial is quite rare as well, with fewer than 10 made in that configuration from what I understand. Long story short: I suggest you take advantage of the opportunity to grab one while you can.

Briefly, the Imperial is essentially a Rambler (same control layout & functions) with twice the output (i.e. 4 x 6L6GC) at ~60 watts. Like the Rambler, the Imperial\'s triode/pentode switch reduces power by about 1/2, providing ~28 watts with Triode engaged. This particular amp is quite clean, not perfect mind you, but in very respectable condition overall. To be clear, everything is functioning precisely as it should be as well. In fact, the amp was sent to Carr to ensure that it was in tip-top running conditionprior to listing...which it is. Original footswitch for Reverb & Tremolo effects is included.***I\'d rather the amp be enjoyed by another musician than see it sit idle so I\'m open to offers***I guarantee the amp is exactly as described & pictured here and I pack like a pro so there\'ll be no unpleasant surprises when it arrives. Due to it\'s size & weight, the amp requires considerable effort & expense to adequately protect it in transit. As a result, the shipping cost to CONUS (via UPS Ground from Zip 13640) or Canada (via FedEx Ground from K7K 4L8 in Ontario so no tax/brokerage) is fixed at $125.
