They have been tested to make sure they work, and are set for three-way bulbs. Not including their cords, they weigh 8 lbs. 8.5 oz. and 8 lbs. 9.5 oz. The base is 4.75\" square and the wider part near the top is about 4.5\". The total height of the stone is about 15\" on one and 15.25\" on the other. The one that is .25\" shorter has a taller metal neck so the sockets are at about the same height.

Both lamps have a lot of little nicks, and each have a major condition problem. One lamp had a piece chip off the side, and it was glued back on. There are a couple of tiny pieces missing from around the chip. The other lamp has a crack in about the same spot, but nothing has chipped off. The metal lamp parts have some corrosion from age, and one lamp has some white paint on the cord. The lamp with more color in the stone has a spot on the side where the person who carved it took just a little bit too much off. It\'s not very obvious unless you concentrate on the same spot and look at it from different angles.
