Good, original-conditionCarver M500 Power Amplifier in excellent working condition. 250 watts perchannel; can be bridged to 700 watts. This is not the \"T\"version. Beautiful, dual analog watt meters with a rear-panel light dimmer. Itis totally mechanically and electrically quiet- no hum, static or noise. The cabinetis a little scuffed and scratched on the top but has no dents or corrosion.Faceplate and meter plexiglas housing are perfect. One meter bulb requires replacementbut exact replacement bulbs are available on .

The Carver amplifiersounds very warm, solid and musical. The image has great depth and there is plentyof punch and dynamic headroom for a really lively sound and providingsuperb control of the bass. Matched withthe right equipment it sounds great; I’ve found gets the most from smallspeakers. It has a distinctly“tube-like” sound; with a specified damping factor of only 30, it’s differentfrom current solid state amplifier designs

It possesses excellentspecs, but the name Carver on this amplifier ensures fine build quality andhigh-fidelity sound.
