Up for sale is a neat,Early, display piece of a cast iron frogmatch safe holder advertising "Pointer Stoves and Ranges" embossed on his back and "Gohmann Bros and Kahler Co New Albany Ind" Indianaembossed on his belly. The top is secured to the bottom between his hind legs with a cotterpin and opens to reveal the match striker on the roof of his mouth. This piece is old cast iron withnickel plateand nice patina, measures approx. 4" long x 3 1/4" wide x 1 3/4" tall, and is in excellent condition with some minor wear as shown.
