Cathrineholm 18 pc Stainless Enamel bowls & plates - Eames Krenit Danish Modern
Check out this amazing set of dishes! Cathrinholm Norway is famous for the Louts pattern, but this somethig you don't see much. It is shiny brushed stainless on the outside and turquoise enamel on the inside. The photos wash out the color a bit - it looks very similar to the color but a bit richer. Not a true bright turquoise, maybe more like seafoam green. Very similar to Krenit bowls, but instead of black on the outside it is stainless steel. All pieces are signed, but there are two marks, one very simple and light and one more fancy and darker. See last photos. The large bowl and plate really set this apart - this is a rare find. The set includes:1 12.25" serving plate1 8" wide 3" deep serving bowl8 3" small bowls8 7.5" small plates ConditionIt is my professional opinion that these have never been used. The enamel is in amazing shape. You might a few nicks or what have you, but these look new. About half of the small bowls have some loss around the edges, but this seems to be either from storage or it's possible they came from the factory like that. The bottoms are all nice and shiny, but there is quite a bit of shelf wear on many of the pieces. Some seem perfect, some have quite a few scratches and what have you. But, it's just the bottoms and just shelf wear - these are in nothing short of amazing condition for their age. This is a heavy, high quality set. If shipping ends up being cheaper, I'll refund the difference. I add some weight so I can pack securely. See photos. Check out my othersales.
