Charming Kpm Sculpture In Cart, Broken Eggs, Figurine, Easter For Sale
This darling KPM figurine depicts a young boy carrying 4 broken or newly hatched eggs in a cart. The eggs seem very large for the scale of the boy, so I am not sure of the significance. The German culture is very rich in fairy tales and nursery stories and this figurine must refer to one of them. The sculpture is in excellent shape, no cracks or chips, the eggs are meant to be broken; there is glazing on the edges. The piece measures base is 7" by 3", height is 6".
