Here you have the chance to aquire some HiFi legends. A superb pair of Chartwell3/5 speakers. Sounding fabulously accurate, open and natural, which they were famous for. Produced during the heyday of the British high fidelity era. The Chartwell`s working perfect, the sound is wonderful!

The manufacturer Chartwellproduced best quality and used finest components. The converting is absolute perfect! Quality has been Chartwellsprime consideration throughout the companys many many years of manufacturing audio equipment.

Designed to BBC broadcast specification for studio monitoring purposes. The LS3/5A reached legendary status. When you listen to them, you understand why. The sound isunbelievable! The 3/5 is the perfect sound field reproduction system. The sound that is still amazing after all these years and loved by many hifi reviewers. These are simple one of the best Monitor speakers – ever!!

The Charwells are in very fine condition. You can find only little traces of use like small scratches. The chassis rubber is not brittle or cured - like new. The drivers and tweeters are all original, undamaged and work flawlessly. This 3/5 have been very well cared for over the decades - nearly MINT!!

I have taken a lot of pictures as close up as is practical to show that this is a very nice pair. Please observe photos (zoom available) to check external condition. The speakers are near pristine. In the real world you will not be looking this close, but I want you to know what you are offerding on. This speakers are nearly 35 years old. The condition is very fine, justas I havedescribed. But please don´t think that the speakers are new!!

The LS3/5a is a widely known speaker for it countervailing attraction is its midband. It has one of the least colored midbands around. It presents the correct musical and tonal balance of the different instruments. The speakers cast a wide, deep, and stable soundstage. The human voice is rendered unadorned to be appreciated.

Versteigert werden Monitor Lautsprecher LS3/5A. Die Charwellsbefinden sich im sehr gutem Zustand (bitte Bilder ansehen!!). Es sind nur leichte Gebrauchsspuren vorhanden.

Der Klang ist genial!! Die 3/5 wurde im Auftrag der BBC entwickelt und gefertigt. Nur die Firmen Rogers, Spendor, Harbeth und Chartwell konnten die von der BBC geforderte bestmögliche Qualität liefern. Von diesen vier Anbietern ist die Version von Chartwell mit Abstand die Seltenste. Auch gilt sie unter 3/5 Fans als die Beste!!

Die hier angebotenen Lautsprecher sind ORIGINALE. Keine billigen Nachbauten aus China, die immer wieder auftauchen und Angeboten werden!!

Die Verarbeitung ist wohl kaum noch zu verbessern. Hier ist man an die Grenzen des Möglichen gegangen. Das Ergebnis ist ein außerordentlich guter Lautsprecher.
