French M1866 Chassepot Bayonet measuring 27-1/2\" overall with a blade length of 22-1/2\". Shows wear, use, scratches, spots and shows a refinish at one point. Ricasso marked with two cartouches. Interesting Serial number on the cross-guard with cartouches on the quillon. Great working press-stud. Spine marked Mutzig Arsenal markings and a 1868 date.
