You are offerding on a Chinese havdala fish, circa 1940s. Was created by a Jewish artist in the city of Tientsin, China. The fish is a work of art, built with a kinetic design, the body is flexible and moves from side to side. Carrying chinese silvermarks. In the fish head is an openning for the insertion of the besamim and a chain which allows the fish to be hanged for use for havdala or as a suka decoration. The eyes are inlaid with semi precious stones. Excellent condition.
