This is a exceptional c1880 Chinese export silver miniature fourteen figure processional display. One of several CES miniature displays we are offering, from the same several generation collection. The last one, a miniature torture chamber, sold for $2000. USD This rare c1880 Chinese silver miniature procession with fourteen figures, on original rosewood platform. The lead and last figures holding fish models on tall stick. Followed by two Chinese men with garden lantern, and one with parasol. A pair of men with banners, as well as large drums hanging from neck. Musicians with long trumpet and one with cymbals. The sedan carriage with beautiful hand engraved leaf and floral displays. This Chinese export silver miniature processional scene is 7 inches long. The taller figures are 1 3/4 inches. In fine condition. Rich silver patina to most pieces. Much of the original detail intact. Scattered losses to parts of few figures and carriage accents. Not all secured by fasteners, some with glue. The original rosewood stand in fine overall state.
