We are quite pleased to offer this rare c1890 Chinese export silver miniature filigree and enamel altar table. With flower display, urn and table screen.

Important. This is export period hand crafted silver and ename. It is NOT c1940s tourist trade crudely fashioned, as so often found on .

This miniature crafted as a centuries old Chinese altar table.

Atop the table a scalloped rim bowl of enamelled flowers, in shades of pink gold and green.

A temple urn. And on the opposite side a table screen with beautifully detailed filigree floral display.

The filigree work comprised of hundreds of individually worked silver wires. Many times thinner than a human hair.

Signed in Chinese characters on silver plaque.

This rare export silver filigree and enamel altar table is 3 1/2 inches and weighs 1 1/4 standard ounces.

In vry fine condition. Rich, lustreous sterling patina throughout. Hundreds of tiny silver wires. Tiny 1/16th or less loss to table top and the enamelled flowers now with paint touch up.
