English or Chinese Export Porcelain Hand Decorated 10\" Bowl, 18th Century?
- DIMENSIONS: Approximately 25cm (roughly 10\") diameter x 10.5cm (just over 4\") tall
- ITEM DETAILS: This is a beautiful ten inch porcelain bowl which is decorated with flowers in famille style enamel colours and tasteful gilding. To be fussy there\'s a small, faint star crack visible in the glaze underneath which doesn\'t penetrate inside the bowl so is probably superficial (see photo) but aside from this it\'s in really nice condition and as bright as a button with no damage, chips, cracks, restoration or unsightly wear. It has no maker\'s mark so I\'m not sure of its origins (Any help here would be greatly appreciated!) but it has the look and feel of late 18th - early 19th century English Porcelain (New hall in particular) or the Chinese export porcelain it was trying to imitate. It would look great in any collection, and as always there\'s a low start and so happy offerding!
