This fine ornament was designed and created bythe distinguished Swedish sculptor Lars Svenson.

It is an original and exclusive design usedonly as a model for the 1986 mold.

A master engraver then cut the pattern into a blockof solid tempered steel.

Only hand tools were used so that the finedetails incorporated in the original could

be authentically reproduced. It was allaccomplished with a hammer, chisel and a graver,

a special engraving tool with a ball-likewooden handle that gouges, scrapes and cuts

intricate designs when used by a trainedcraftsman. After his work was approved by the

artist for its authenticity, the original artwas destroyed to prevent any other use.

The ornament itself is individually molded outof crystal clear unbreakable

acrylic…the finest material of its kindavailable. Streams of light radiate off its prismatic

surface and edges. It is a truly a gift to be treasured as partof the great Christmas Tradition
