Forsale is a gorgeous antique kerosene lamp, circa 1870. It features beautiful hand-painted purple irises or lilies with a dark red top fading to a lighter green background. It is all original (has not been electrified). The metal glass holder is marked \"Eagle\" and the wick adjuster knob is marked Waterbury. The underside metal base has a number that looks like \"108\".

Dimensions: 18\"tall (counting glass shade; the lamp itself is about 11\" tall) x 7\"wide

The body is in good antique condition with some wear to the paint in spots from handling over the years (please see photos); the metal portions are in fair shape with surface corrosion. The wick adjuster turns a little bit and I can see the remnants of an old wick still inside the holder. The lamp smells like kerosene when you get up close to it. Comes from a Smoke Free/Pet Free Home.
