Circa 1915 Wwi German Prussian Tin Ersatz Pickelhaube Spiked Helmet For SaleGrenadier Military Antiques Is Offering This WWI German Prussian Tin Ersatz Pickelhaube. The pickelhaube is Circa 1915 and is made of black painted tin. It features brass fittings, and retains its' Prussian and Reich kokarden. All fittings are present, however the chinstrap is missing. The chinstrap M-91 fittings have a small amount of solder on them, perhaps the helmet once hung on a wall, and this was done to keep the chinstrap fittings from moving. It is free from extra holes, and the body is dent free, with some scuffs and chips to the finish. It retains approx. 98% of it's painted finish. The lining is complete and in good solid condition. There is a tear in one of the liner fingers. The overall condition is very good+ All items are absolutely guaranteed 100% original, and are from the period stated.
