Civil War Soldier identified on the reverse as George Franklin Johnson - Louisville, Kentucky - This sale is for 2 cdv photos, one of Johnson in his civil war uniform and one with his wife.

According to the NationalPark Service Civil War Soldier Details website, George F. Johnson served with the 14th Regiment Kentucky Infantry. He entered the service a Sergeant and left the service as a Captain.
