Civil War Wax Museum 54th Mass. Volunteer Infantry Black Soldier Museum Figure For Sale
Up for sale is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity. After over 50 years of serving the Gettysburg, PA tourists, the American Civil War Museum is in the process of totally changing the museum. March 15, 2014 was the sale of a lifetime. Over 95 Civil War museum figures were saleed off. Many which have been here since the opening in 1962. With over 9 million visitors passing through the museum in the 52 years of operation. I have aquired some of these artifacts and am offering them to the public. Out of the 95 museum figures sold at sale, only 1 was documented on the sale sheet as being "true wax". That 1 was number 40. Up for sale is number 40. Number 40 is a black soldier of the 54th Mass. Volunteer Infantry. The soldier is seen on page 39 of the American Civil War Museum illustrated guide. Millions have seen this display. Like I said, this was the only true wax museum figure. All others at the sale were made using latex/styrofoam/plastic construction. Detail is amazing. glass eyes. Even has wax hands although the hands end at the bend in the fingers. Comes dressed in uniform. Uniform is not an original civil war uniform, but looks good for display/museum purposes. Super neat piece that only comes around once in your life. Perfect display piece for your shop/business, museum, or man cave. I would prefer local pickup because of size, but will work with someone to get it shipped. Once again, this is a true wax figure, not a plastic replica. Museum Quality. I have sold my other three museum figures that were listed, so this is your last chance to buy.
