This sale is for a Post Office fresh block of 4 mint, unused, never hinged 13 cent stamps honoring Clara Louise Maass (1876-1901), the heroic nurse who voluntarily gave her life for yellow fever research. Stamps show Clara Maass and Newark German Hospital Pin in addition to the statement "She Gave Her Life" at the bottom. These stamps were issued in 1976, on the 100th anniversary of her birth.
These stamps are in mint condition and would look great framed or mounted with your other collectibles.
