This is the second of two quality reproduction French dolls I am offering this week.

This girl is a reproduction French fashion doll incised "F" C W Clarmaid 1967 with the "w" in the center of the larger "C" for Clara Wade. She is 13 inches tall.

Her bisque is beautifully blushed on her cheeks and eyelids. The blue eyes are stationary an the eyebrows and lashes deliately painted.

She has a swivel bisque socket head on a bisque shoulderplate on a rosy pink leather gusseted fashion doll body. Her lower arms are bisque with blushed tops.

She will come wearing her blonde mohair wig with antique blue silk ribbons and a set of cotton underwear including the long slip and drawers, both lace trimmed.

The only condition issue to report is that she is "pigeon toed", both feet turn in toward each other. I am unsure is this is the result of how she was stored or if she was intentionally made this way to replicate how we sometimes find genuine antique fashion bodies.

I have had many Clara Wade Clarmaid dolls over the years and generally find them to be very well made and very collectible. They also made terrific models for fashion doll clothing, both for the seamstress and the collector of vintage doll fashions.
