This is a very cute Steiff \"Reit-pony\". This piece still has it\'s button and Flag (number 165, 23) which dates his manufacture between 1965 and 1967. This is a drayloncovered piece(which is ever so slightly faded/thin in some areas), with a white mane and tail (both mane and tail are a bit thinner than when brand new :)) -this piece can be seen in the Sortiment book (47-95) on page139. He is missing the saddle and bridle (I can make these items for you, or we can talk about items I have that would fit him if you like-visit stuffedtoyvet.com and e-mail from there), and has some spots on the tippy top of the felt saddle pad (see pic), but he really is in amazing condition, especially for his age, with just a few small imperfections as above! He DOES have eyes although they are a bit hard to see in the pics :)! Has his orignal red and white pull cord with wood handle. Underneath his hoof bottoms look new! And his White rubber tires are in fine usable condition -even these appear almost new. Amazing! His pull voice no longer sounds. He would be great to display or gift for a child to use!
