Butter dish base measures approximates 8\" x 5 1/2\" and holds a 1/4 lb stick of butter. No cracks or major issues, but does have a few minor flea bites on edge shown in last picture.
In very good used condition for being approx 20 years old. This piece is from my own collection of cobalt blue.
