This is not a reproduction light. It is antique and I guarantee that. This, and other matchless stars I am listing, have been in our home since the early 1980s. I know they are being reproduced, but this is authentic. The Matchless Electric Company of Chicago, Illinois made and sold these glass-prism Christmas lights starting in about 1935, and continuing through the late 40s. The production of the Stars was a seasonal business for The Matchless Company, but Jim Dittman, inventor Paul\'s son, reports that the Stars were \"my father\'s pride and joy.\" They were available in several sizes and many color combinations, and the glass points were made and hand cut in Czechoslovakia. The lights were assembled and boxed in the United States.
Sky Blue cut crystal points, produced in Czechoslovakia.

When on the tree, and lit, it is just fabulous.
Make sure to use a dimmer as this light will burn less bright, and will last and last and last.
We have had these in a drawer in back closet and just do not light our trees as we used to do.
In fact, we put up less and less every year.
Hope someone can make use of the Christmas tree lights.
In very good condition.
There is nothing wrong withthisMatchless Star. All of these lights are old. They are not reproductions. I guarantee that. These items being listed today arein very good shape. They are what I describe them as. I guarantee that. I start all my sales at .99 cents as it is an sale and I just never cared when I went to live sale and thesaleeer started very high, and then spent time backing down to get a offer.
I am more than happy to combine postage to save money. I know the postage is high on an individual light. Many more can be sent for same price, but I need to insure lights. Post Office has not been too kind with handling packages lately, and I want to insure these so you and I can rest more easily.
Just let me know you are multiple offerdingand I will invoice you when you are finished offerding and wish for me to send the items. Then, I will combine postage and send to you, and send final invoice. If any questions about this, please email style=\"margin: 0in 117pt 0pt 0in;\">
