RADIOLOGICAL INSTRUMENTS And KIT for CIVIL DEFENSE TRAINING

This kit for Civil Defense Training classes contains all original materials. All printed material is the real thing--no photocopies!!! The meters are from a fall-out shelter and I had them refurbished by the Texas Dept. of Health in 1995. Other than that, all items are in original condition as I found them in a fallout shelter, so expect some paint chips and minor stains. One of the headsets has some rust as does one of the water purification tins. The lid to the wooden storage box has some damage, also--lid split and detached from box at some point See all photos.

I am a retired Science teacher and used this kit in my classes. I brought in Fiesta dishes in red and blue as well as yellow and green for comparison, old smoke detectors and Coleman lantern mantles and sent my students around the school to see where they could detect radiation. The students love using \"real thing\" and finding radiation in unexpected places.
