Collection Of 60's & 70's And More Canadian Bills & Coins - Must See For Sale
Offered in this sale is a large collection of Canadian coins and bills, with a total face value of over $75.00,doing quick calculations. These are all from the estate of a person who collected coins and bills, primarily US currency. We know nothing about collector values of US or Canadian currency and these have not been shown to anyone knowledgable about currency. We are trying to liquidate a huge collection of coins and currency that he had and honestly do not have time to take everything to a coin shop or collector nor would we know how to sort any of these to take them for appraisals. Most were stored in jars or metal boxes, manyof them mixed together (US, Canadian and other currency.) So we quickly sorted out the Canadian coins, did a quick count and photographed them. A quick scan of some of the coins shows that many are from the 60's and 70's. There is approximately $28.75 in quarters, $15.00 in dimes, $3.50 in nickels and eleven pennies. The bills are as follows: there are 3 - Five Dollar Bills, 2 dated 1972 and 1 dated 1979. There are 14 One Dollar Bills, all of them dated 1973 (2 of them have consecutive serial numbers, and 3 others also have consecutive serial numbers.) There are no creases in any of the bills and they all are in very good condition;we assume they are uncirculated. Again, these coins have not been checked so you may or may not find some treasures, we have no idea whatsoever. There are 9 coins in cardboard protective covers, please see the scans. We believe these are all Canadian, the have different dates. We do not know why he kept these in covers (which hedid with some US coins as well.) Accordingly, this lot is sold as is, with no represention of value other than the face value is higher than our starting offer. Thanks for looking and good luck!
