This is a rare Colts Firearms bakelite \"The Courtship of Lady Nicotine\" cigarette box in book form from the early 20th century. It was designed to be hidden on a book shelf and measures 6-1/2\" x 5\" x 1-1/4\". The piece opens like a book to and is compartmentalized to store cigarettes,matches, etc. It is in overall very good condition with a small chip at the base of the binder as shown in photograph. I believe there was also an insert that served as an ashtray that is not present. Please feel free to ask questions or to request additional photos.
