Colt Navy Cylinder Only To 12 Notch Richards Conversion 1860 Army Revolver For Sale
This is the cylinder only. It is to the Richards Conversion, Colt 1860 Army Model. Only about 9000 of these were made. This is the rarer cylinder with the 12 notches. It depicts the Navy scene and is .44 caliber. According to the colt book the 12 notch cylinder is much harder to find. This one still has the navy scene (very hard to photograph) and has the Colts Patent and serial # 7749, and the date sept 10th 1853. It appears to have never been on a gun but does have wear from being handled for 150 years. Buyer to pay $5.00 shipping.
