Complete/vintage 1973 Comic Card Game-popeye, Beetle Bailey, Blondie, Hi & Lois:
If you like the classic comic strips of the 1960s and 1970s, here's a game that you'll love. This is the Comic Card Game, made by Milton Bradley in 1973. The game features characters from four well-loved newspaper comic strips: Popeye, Beetle Bailey, Blondie & Dagwood, and Hi & Lois. This game is complete with all of the original parts and pieces. All four of the original cardboard cardholders are here, and they are all in excellent condition. More importantly, all of the original game cards are here. The game can't be played unless all of the cards are present. And what's cool about these cards is that they form a complete six-panel comic strip when the player assembles all of these cards in the correct order. These cards are all in very good to excellent condition. The instructions are printed on the inside of the box lid. The bottom of the box is in good condition, especially considering that it's nearly 45 years old. One of the corners has been "repaired" with tape, and there's some wear along one of the edges on the bottom of the box. All four corners of the lid have been repaired with tape, and there's a rip on one of the side flaps that's also been repaired. There's some wear at the corners and along the edges of the lid, and there's a 3" split on one edge. This is Milton Bradley Product #4305. The buyer will receive the game that's pictured in this listing. This game would make a great addition to any collection of vintage board games.
