Sterling silver Blackberry pattern thimble consisting of chased blackberry leaves and fruit on a textured background. Bears the CE&FD Ltd mark for Birmingham silversmiths Albert Constantine & William Henry Floyd trading as Constantine & Floyd Ltd formerly of 14 Regent Place, Birmingham. Hallmarked on the flat rim: CE&FDLD (for Constantine & Floyd), the lion passant for sterling silver, the Birmingham Assay Office anchor mark, the date letter lower case "u" for 1919 and 3 (the size). In excellent condition - in round and free of holes, dents, damage and repairs. Nice crisp detail. It looks unused. Height approx. 2.3 cm; internal base diameter approx 1.6 cm; weight 4.7 grams.
