MdM Shells - Quality & Beauty for Your Collection

Conus adamsoni Broderip, 1836

Now that the dead collected, second quality specimens from the Cook Islands that were on the market last year have pretty much disappeared, shells like this one from the Marquesas Islands have once more become one of the rarest as well as the most beautiful and desirable shells in the Conidae. We've also lost contact with the only supplier that we had for this shell so short of finding one that we've sold previously we do not expect to see another specimen, and certainly a specimen this beautiful for a long time to come. This shell is in perfect condition and the price is quite low. We would not be greatly surprised to see any more shells like this (if any come up) selling in the $2000.00 to $2400.00 price range. The shell measures 40.1 mm

Collecting information and as do all of our shells it comes with a 100% no questions asked satisfaction guarantee. You can return your shell for a full refund including the shipping cost if you are not completely satisfied with it for any reason. We stand behind what we sell and have been doing so with more than 40 years of experience in the specimen shell business.

Note for collectors in Italy. We will mail your package to you from a colleague in France which will allow you to receive your shells without the problems that have occurred with non-delivery, loss and customs payments that collectors and dealers have had with the Italian postal system. There is no extra charge for this service.

Payment is required 5 days after the close of the sale. If you would like to have us hold your items to combine with future purchases please let us know. We will be happy to hold them for you.
Shipping will usually take place one day after your payment is received. We ship by the United States Postal Service either by First Class Mail or Priority Mail within the USA Shipments outside the USA will be sent through the US Postal Service by International First Class Mail or International Priority Mail Flat Rate box if the contents are valued at more than $100.00
Chinadancer 888 is a part of MdM Shells & Books. We have been in the specimen shell business since 1974 and we are noted for the quality of our shells that we sell.
