Corticelli Kitten Kitty Cat Cardboard Trade Trading Card Advertising Die Cut Nos For Sale
For your offerding
consideration is a new old stock (NOS) Corticelli Kitten die cut, easel stand
advertisement. We had about 5 of these Kittens, but THIS IS OUR LAST ONE. It
measures approx. 5-1/4” tall by 3-1/4inches wide.
The back of the card
tells some of the history of the Corticelli Silk Mills and facts about how the
silk is made including it takes 3,000,000 million cocoons yielding 750,000 of
cocoon fiber to operate the mills for one day.
The Corticelli Silk
Company located in Florence, MA went out of business in 1930, so considering
this advertisement’s age, it is in very good condition. There is a small spot on
the front of the spool of thread where the color is gone. There also is a
minor, original glue spot on the back. There is a crease on the tail (on the
far left side). Please see photos for overall condition.
Don’t miss the opportunity to own this fine cross collectable.
