The shipping price is the same for mailing to addresses in both the US & Canada. Canadian buyers will see the international rate quoted by but this price will be adjusted to the domestic rate at checkout . (If you are in Canada you can check the rate by putting the US as the destination in the shipping rate calculator).

SHIPPING COST: We try to match the shipping cost closely to the actual amount that is charged by the post office plus a small amount to help cover the cost of handling & shipping supplies (but never more than 50 cents). We will issue a Paypal refund for shipping overpayments greater than 50 cents. Please note that since we are mailing from British Columbia we are also charged an additonal 12% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) that is NOT reflected in the Canada Post label amount on your package. You never pay more than what is quoted in the sale listing.

COMBINED SHIPPING: Multiple purchases can be combined for an additional 1.25 per extra pattern for the US & Canada or $3.00 per extra pattern for international, with the heaviest item providing the base rate. If the final combined weight is >500g, then weight-based parcel rates apply (usually >6 regular patterns). I will need to get a final combined weight in order to determine the shipping cost of larger parcels. International buyers please email for overseas parcel shipping rates (you may need to be sitting down to hear those rates).

PayPal payments for combined sales must be made in a single payment or full shipping cost applies to PayPal payments made individually.

When you are ready to pay please proceed through the Pay Now or Checkout link where you can choose your payment method, link your PayPal payment and combine multiple purchases.

All patterns are meticulously checked for completeness, alteration and condition so you can offer with an increased level of confidence that the pattern you are buying is fully useable and as described.

Where it is practical the worn edges and small rips in the envelopes are sometimes repaired with clear tape. Photos of identical items are recycled so there may be some minor variations from the picture in the listing.

An order invoice is sent to the buyer soon after the sale ends but please note that I only have computer access in the evenings. Shipping Info

REALISTIC SHIPPING EXPECTATIONS:

Since we live quite rurally we mail out on the Tuesdays and Fridays following payment clearance but will also try to mail out sooner if we are going into town on any other day of the week. Our local post office is closed on the weekends. Your purchase will be sent from British Columbia, Canada therefore USPS insurance, Media Mail or Priority Mail are not available options.

Single pattern packages are sent as 1st class lettermail and because we are mailing from Canada it usually takes at least a week, sometimes up to 10 days, to reach their US destination once mailed. Within Canada mailing is similar but international shipping times are of course longer and less predictable.

We are commited to providing the best customer service we can and will do our best to package things up securely and get them off to you as soon as possible but please understand that once it hits the postal service then things are beyond our control. IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE
