Cunard Line Cruise Ship, Queen Mary 2, Porcelain Teapot made in Stoke-on-Trent, England. The bottom says "This piece has been speciallycommissioned to celebrate the inaugral year of the Queen Mary 2, 2004". It is from a limited edition of 750, this one being # 451. This beautiful porcelain teapot holds 2 cups, measures 7 1/2" from handle to spout, is 4 3/4" high, and the opening is about 3". This teapot is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. It is a beautiful hand decorated teapot, white with gold trim and detailing. It has the Queen Mary 2 insignia on the front and back, surrounded by 2 thin red stripes and a black band with gold leaves. The tip of the lid and the end of the spout are also gold trimmed. Queen Mary 2 is the Flagship of the Cunard line and the longest, widest, and tallest cruise ship ever built. AND the most expensive. A wonderful piece for any cruise ship collector....or anyone who is looking for a unique, pretty little teapot!
