\"The Troll Silver Series\" 1966 book piece.

The series consisted of 15 pieces of jewelry designed by three designers. Bjørn Sigurd Østern, Uni David-Andersen and Mariannne Berg.

Some pieces by Marianne Berg were made in sterling silver without enamel, using patinated/oxidized surfaces to give variation in the luster.

The pendant portion of the necklace measures 1 3/4\" W x by 2 3/8\" L. The super long,silver straightlinked necklace measures 22\" not including the width of the pendant which is an additional 1 3/4\"

Condition is very good condition

The pieces of \'The Silver Series\' have clean modernistic and geometric shapes, at the same time recalling old symbols from the Norse Sagas, such as the hammer of Thor, the god of war and thunder, and the romantic ideas of old treasures connected to folklore and the Trolls.

This is a wonderful and very rare piece. It is bold, heavy and authentic.
